The South African government is putting policies, strategies and programmes in place with the intention of establishing an empowering environment for Small Medium-sized Enterprises. To make this a success, thorough understanding factors that might influence their export propensity necessary. aim article was to examine drivers influencing enterprises. A quantitative, descriptive research design implemented. Management experience identified as most significant factor propensity. willingness business leader participate export-related activities largely correlate management commitment well marketing capabilities, correlation also evident between support capabilities lastly access information. Marketing support, had impact on performance (turnover).
